Seafood Salad with Shrimp & Calamari atop of Arugula.
served with Illumination 2024 Sauvignon Blanc Napa & Sonoma Counties California
Jeb Dunnuck 95 Rating

Coming from a mix of Sonoma and Napa fruit, the 2024 Illumination has a Bordeaux Blanc-like vibe in its ripe lime, orange blossom, mint, and spicy wood nuances. It brings plenty of sweet California fruit and is medium to full-bodied and concentrated, with bright acidity and a great finish. It’s beautifully done and just an impeccable 100% Sauvignon Blanc from California.

Peay 2021 West Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir California
Jeb Dunnuck 95 Rating
Deep ruby with a jeweled appearance, the 2021 Pinot Noir West Sonoma Coast is pure with framboise and lavender wildflowers. Medium to full-bodied, with great structure, it’s beautifully pure and persistent, with notes of fresh pine and wildflowers as well as a great finish. Drink it over the next 20 years.

Crown Point 2021 Relevant Cabernet Sauvignon Happy Canyon Santa Barbara County
Wine Enthusiast 95 Rating
Intensely dark blueberry and cassis aromas are cut by hints of meat and dry oak on the nose of this estate’s entry-level bottling, which includes 10% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petite Verdot. Chalky, firm tannins frame the fresh blackberry flavors of the sip, where a dusting of pepper spice floats through the long-lingering finish.

Chateau Phelan Segur 2018 Saint-Estephe Bordeaux France
Jeb Dunnuck 95 Rating
The flagship 2018 Château Phélan Ségur is a beauty based on 57% Cabernet Sauvignon and 43% Merlot. This was a great vintage for the Médoc, and the 2018 reveals a dense purple hue to go with powerful notes of blackcurrants, iron, smoked tobacco, chocolate, and earth. Rich, full-bodied, and concentrated, it has beautiful tannin's, remarkable purity of fruit, and just does everything right. It has some up-front appeal today (no doubt due to the high Merlot content), yet it builds with time in the glass and shows more and more structure with air. It deserves 5-6 years of bottle age and will keep for 20-25. It's every bit as good as the 2016, if not better.
