WINE & FOOD MENU

Meet & Greet Rose: Tormaresca 2024 Calafuria Rose Puglia Italy
The Rose when tasted, presents itself with a coral pink color. Calafuria is a fresh and floral Apulian rosé wine based on Negroamaro, with pleasant and characteristic aromas and aromas. On the nose, this Apulian rose recalls fruit, flowers and aromatic herbs. On the palate it is soft, fresh and very pleasant, elegant and balanced.

1-course: -Aged Parmesan Arancini, Stone Fruit Marmalade, Prosciutto Crumble
served with Ferghettina 2018 Franciacorta Milledi Brut Lombardy Italy
Wine Enthusiast 90 Rating

With flavors reminiscent of apple tart, cinnamon and a touch of cream. The medium-bodied palate offers notes of yellow plum, candied lemon and pressed yellow flowers, finishing with a balance between the creamy texture and vibrant acidity.

2-Course: Blue Crab, Shaved Fennel Orange Insalata
served with Capichera Lintori 2024 Vermentino di Sardegna Sardinia Italy
James Suckling 95 Rating

Bright aromas of white spices, orange blossoms, stone fruit and pears. It’s vibrant and concentrated, with iodine minerality. Full-bodied, precise and pristine, with a silky texture and zesty acidity. Drink now.

3-Course: Wild Florida Boar Ragu, Gnocchi Sardi, Chocolate, Warm Spices
served with: Produttori 2017 Barbaresco Montestefano Riserva Piedmont Italy
Wine Enthusiast 95 Rating

New leather, camphor, cedar and dark spice aromas form the subtle but compelling nose. On the firmly structured palate, tightly knit, noble tannins support fleshy Morello cherry, crushed raspberry star anise and baking spice. Drink through 2029.

A Blind Wine Selection ?

4-Course: Beef Tataki, Balsamic Tare, Dried Cherry Truffle Tapenade
served with: I Greppi 2022 Greppicaia Bolgheri Superiore Tuscany Italy
Jeb Dunnuck 96 Rating

A highly luxurious style, the 2022 Greppicaia pours a dark purple/red color and is very pronounced and saturated with layered oak spice, toasted vanilla, cedar, boysenberry, plum, cigar box, and polished leather. While the oak is quite forward, this is a wine of high quality, with a bright spine of ripe acidity to balance it out and a full-bodied, broad-shouldered and well-defined, ripe texture that doesn’t feel weighted. It has a very long, salty finish with bright redcurrant fruit lasting long on the palate. I can’t help but be impressed here, although it’s going to need several years in a cellar and is built for the long haul.

5-Course: Braised Beef Short Ribs, Oven Dried Grapes, Gorgonzola Risotto
served with: Bertani 2015 Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG Veneto Italy
James Suckling 100 Rating

A vivid ruby color with a garnet tinge and super-restrained nose of licorice, oak bark, smoke, wood, cigar box, leather, dark chocolate, crushed violets and prunes. Freshness and subtlety. Full-bodied and elegant on the palate due to ripe, filigree tannins with long acidity and a toasty, savory aftertaste. One of the great Amarones. Corvina and Rondinella. Ready to drink now but intended for the long haul.

6-Course: Lemon Olive Oil Cake, Apricot Preserves, Lavander Crema
served with: IL Palazzo 2021 Vin Santo Del Chianti Tuscany Italy
James Suckling 95 Rating

A complex wine with aromas of vanilla, walnuts, raisins, caramel, candied oranges and prosciutto. Sweet, medium-bodied and viscous, yet balanced by zesty acidity. Long, toasty and precise with lifted acidity. Amazing length. Drink now.
